We grow some amazing Salanova lettuce and we need you to take home MORE of it! Our long season might get cut short by this crazy heat (thanks Mother Nature for skipping spring!) If the lettuce bolts then we’ll be out until early fall so come get it while you can!
I was waiting for my body to crave salads again. Here we are! I’m ready to have all of those farm fresh spring lettuces! We picked up a bag of lettuces from a farm stand on the road home from point Reyes. Topped with chickpeas, radishes, asparagus and a few slices of pork. Added some McEvoy extra virgin olive oil and a squeeze of a friendly neighbors meyer lemon. Yum! Kids are eating actual salad!!
Fell in love with Fremont and this dinner @thewhalewins was the perfect last meal. Sat outside on the patio drinking local wine and tasting all the pickled spring veggies.
