Tangerine Update: No spoilers and from both reader and writer perspective(we will discuss the chocolate later!). . This story is told from two POV’s those of Lucy and Alice, college chums from Bennington who have not seen each other in over a year. This feels a bit like Gaslight and you have no idea which woman is telling the story accurately. Or are they both? As you flip from one perspective you find yourself rooting for the woman you are reading at the moment. I do not yet have it figured out and I am half way through. . The movie would be directed by Hitchcock starring Grace Kelly, Tippi Hedren as a brunette, and Cary Grant but in a role a bit more like the ones he played earlier on. I can’t wait to see how this plays out. I was up reading it til the wee hours and I am back at it. . It started like a slow languid stretch and now has me in its grip like travel to a foreign country for the first time when everything is fascinating and you don’t want to forget a second of it. #bookblogger#bookstagram#writersread#tbr#tangerine#darkchocolate (this one is quite nice, not too strong not too bitter) #tuesdaymotivation#tuesdaythoughts#currentlyreading#read#bookphotography#ilovebooks#bookstagram
Sleep, or lack there of, has always been an issue for me. It is just one of the wonderful (she says sarcastically) symptoms of Fibromyalgia. Vetiver has been such a game changer for me in the sleep department. I put a drop on the bottom of each of my big toes and rub the excess on the bridge of my nose and forehead. Within 30 minutes I am off in dreamland. I do so love my #magicplantjuice. For my kids, we make a pillow spray and diffuse a combination of Sleepyize, Tangerine and Palo Santo. We added the Palo Santo when my youngest started getting night terrors. In doing some research, I read that Palo Santo helps ward off negative thoughts and now he calls it the “good dream oil”. What is your sleep routine? Do you have a favorite diffuser blend for bedtime?
