Every year comScore, a Digital Analytics Company, publishes a report called The Mobile App Report. 📊 What you can see here are the 2017 social media trends by age group and the top three apps used by those unique visitors. ✅ I am bringing this up because very soon they will be publishing the 2018 report. So this should make you think 🤔 Am I spending the right amount of time, money and effort on the right social media platforms to reach my target audience? 🎯 How can this be useful to you when thinking about your social media strategy? 1️⃣ You should never try to have a presence on all social media outlets. First analyze which are the top three social media platforms that are used the most by your target audience and spend your time and efforts there. 2️⃣ Once you select the right platforms develop a plan. Determine what your brand should look like, what your message and tone should be, etc. Your audience is going to want, expect and deserve that from you. 3️⃣ Consistency is key 🔑 Develop a cadence that works for you!!! For example, you can write, record and edit all of your content for a full month in one or two days and then create an editorial calendar 📆 to post for the rest of the month. That way you can be effective and efficient. But what is important is for you to create a consistent plan that YOU can manage and that works for YOU! 😉
