One of my indigo helpers last weekend, wearing the dress I eco-printed for her birthday 💗 She is one of my favourite people here in the mountains, a delightful forest fairy. 🌿 I have been doing so many fun and nourishing things lately, lots of bushwalks, some hand sewing and other special projects. I’ve been a bit useless at documenting them though. This is partly because I don’t have a smart phone, so when I’m not at home I rarely have a camera with me 🤷♀️ I’ve embraced the fact that this makes me a bad instagrammer, it is a way for me to keep sane and take regular breaks from digital technology. I have also been having patchy internet at my new house. It has been a bit frustrating and is slowing the progress of my new ebook, but it has also been making space for more of the things that really matter to me. I started working for myself because I wanted to set up a life with time for reading and resting and being in nature and this past month or two I have been better at actually prioritising those things again. It is too easy to slip into the mindset of striving, of worrying about money, of growing for the sake of growth. But endless growth is unsustainable, and there is so much more to life than accumulating money and stuff. Most of my favourite things to do are free and it feels good to be making time for them again.
3 pics and 3 cheers for 3 years! So lucky I am, that God made us cross paths, and I was able to marry a man who’s been there for me without fail , held me close when things weren’t that great and laughed with me when things were all that great! Happy 3 years B.B. and here’s to many more! ( Big Thank You to my MIL for flying from London to Jersey to babysit our Missy Sienna! I can count with 3 fingers:/ the times Seb and I have gone out for a meal without Sienna this year, so we both deserved this very much ! Now, let’s move back to Singapore, leave Sienna with her Grandpa, Godma and my aunties so we can do this every week 😉 ! ) #weddinganniversary#lindex#verilymoment#darlingweekend#darlingmovement#our_everyday_moments #bokeh
This was our last day of holidays, exploring this beautiful part of the Springbrook national park at the end of the Currumbin Valley 🌿 (a little video in my stories). We were having too much fun and didn’t want to leave despite wet feet (me trying to help Thea cross a log across the creek when she didn’t actually need any help) and nearly falling in to a deep pool (Dylan, after throwing a rock that was too heavy and almost losing his balance). I think we’re still in holiday mode - we’ve been late to school and kindy every day this week 😬 Does anyone else find it hard to get back into the routine? I’m packing lunches and preparing uniforms the day before and everything is ready but somehow we’re always walking out the door late anyway.
Amidst the olive groves. I hope you're all having a lovely week. We've spent a further very enjoyable few days at our villa in Lazio. It's incredibly quiet and peaceful, and we've enjoyed evenings spent wandering the olive groves, playing games and stargazing. Perfection.
Alll the smiles with my wild boy. Two’s are fun but also hard. Big emotions, lots of tears, and behaviour that makes me wanna respond with 😭😭😭 (No, you cannot push London....why did you dump my smoothie on the ground?...ohhh ya the yogurt container breaks when you throw it on the floor 😑😑😑) Send me all the advice, tips, chocolate pleeease 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼 (I’m just about to start reading the Whole Brain Child)
