Day 5 : Monday Arrives - Day of the First Print Last night I managed to finish a paper, especially after all the motivation I got, thanks to one like 😅. Having done half of the work, I spent a majority of my time today at the production department! Lots of discussion was done about the possibilities of research in the 3D printing sector. Hopefully I can manage to do something productive over the next few months. Today most of the printers we're occupied so we didn't get to learn much today, which meant spending most of our time writing reports. So I wrote another one! Having a lot of time on my hand I decided to try printing a few models, just to get some hands-on experience. Luckily, there was a printer which was free at that time so I finally managed to get my very first print out. Honestly! That rush of excitement, the anticipation, the happiness was uncontainable! I was smiling from ear to ear and felt like jumping around!🙈🙈🙈 I'll post the model tomorrow for sure ❤️ as a separate post! About the model, I dunno why I'm so attracted to the various kinds of shapes and geometries that can be created via 3D printing. There is something really appealing about such shapes and this one in green is a perfect example of breathtaking beauty! 😍
Just got my printer back from being repaired by Monoprice (burned hotbed connectors). Thing is it’s doing this weird vibrating/jerking along what seems like the Y-axis now and I have no clue what’s causing it. Anybody seen this before and can point out the problem?
