I've had a full day of cream making today, this one is an age defying rosehip and frankincense face cream 🌿💚 to help repair and moisturise mature, tired or dry skin. All creams are bespoke and hand made to order after a skin care consultation.
Action shot.. Me mixing up my lotions and potions at @littlegreenclinic I've been making my own moisturising creams for the last 13 years as my skin is so sensitive and allergy prone. Even 'natural' brands make my skin itchy and my eyes water. Making creams comes very naturally now but the UK cosmetic legislation makes it abit tricky to sell them over the counter. As a herbalist trained in the pharmacy at my university's labs Im lucky enough to be able to prescribe and make creams for my clients which I find really enjoyable. And I think its rather nice to have a moisturiser made just for you ❤️ today I've been making frankincense and rosehip moisturisers, and a horse chestnut cream for varicose veins. Horse chestnut (oil) is abit of a tricky customer though as it goes very soapy (due to containing saponins) and tends to split when mixed. My absolute favourite cream is rose and glycerine ❤️🌹❤️ what are your favourite fragrances and oils? *Photo credit to Lilla Cooper at The Little Green Clinic 🌿
Eddie had his first day out with the reins yesterday at the aquarium and he was just so excited! Racing around shouting ‘wow’ also rocking the socks and sandals combo as he has grown out of his shoes already 🙈
The final edition to this several day long review of @lalchurrascoulverston I hope I haven't overwhelmed you with posts but the tapas deserved every part to be displayed in its own right. Pork belly with chicharrones and mojo rojo. I couldn't remember the names of these when making the videos, let's blame it on the food sweats! My mum told me this dish was a must have and she was 100 percent correct. The pork fell apart in my mouth; a tender delicacy cooked to a mouth-watering perfection. Listen to the crunch of the chicharrones (or giant pork scratching as I referred to it) as I bite in, I'd dipped it into the mojo rojo (red sauce) which had a slight spice.
