While it felt great to get away for a couple days, it feels super to be back in the groove!!! A few days off can only do a body good! I tend to forget that all too often, so I constantly need to remind myself that rest is just as important, if not more, as training itself. Rest gives your body a physical break. Rest allows your mind to refocus and zoom in on what’s important. Rest gives you a boost when motivation is waning!! Anyway, here are just a couple things I did for shoulders and back today: -dumbbell+cable press drop sets -chest supported cable lateral raises -front alternate cable raises with an ISO hold on opposite side (not filmed) -neutral grip MAG pull downs -bent over barbell rows -wide grip bent over pull downs supersetted with close grip bent over pull downs (last 3 not filmed) Felt good to move some weights around again. I am fortunate to have the option of just stepping down into my #musselbasement and having a great workout! Workout complete!! So I woke up this morning feeling kind of hung over, tired, bloated and just blah overall. So I decided I was going to go for a run. Then I decided to run to the gym! The Shoulder and Glute pump was soooooo good today!! 🔥🔥Took care of the hubby all day for Father’s Day! We ate cinnamon rolls for breakfast then went and got burgers 🍔 (what man doesn’t love a burger on his day?) and after that went on a long walk in Memorial Grove with the babies! He’s such a good daddy letting me go get a full body workout on his day 💙💙😊 Hope everyone’s having an awesome holiday!
