Throwback to my most vibrant and glorious autumn experience. 🍁 Autumn in Japan is absolutely very colorful. Especially in Kyoto where almost every tree is decked out in vibrant hues of red, orange and yellow. The striking display of fall colors is just unbelievable. I seriously don't know how this “koyo” experience in Japan could be topped. 🍁 Oh autumn, how I love thee. 🧡🧡🧡 • • • #kyoto#japan#travel#autumn
Welcome to the Ramen Noodle experience 🍜 Upon entering the (tiny) restaurant, you go to a machine that prints out a card where you check off the boxes of all the foods you want in your noodles 😋 Then, you get your own little cubicle (as you can see from the second photo). You put your card to the little window, they take it, you wait, then out comes your ramen! 🍲 If you want more, you fill out more on your card, ring the bell, give it to the person behind the little window, then more ramen is delivered! 🤗 I wish these were endless bowls because I couldn’t get enough! Don’t forget to slurp!! (It’s considered polite) #thetraveltrolls#travel#travelcouple#japan#lovejapan#visitjapan#ramen#ramennoodle#slurp#tokyo#lovetokyo#visittokyo#food#ramenexperience
Two important cultural assets in one! The Nihon Maru Sailing ship is located in the first dry dock of Yokohama Docking (it hasn't been dry in a very long time I think). The boat was built in 1930 and was used till she became a museum in 1985. . You can buy tickets to go inside and there is also a museum. . Oh yeah, and apparently they run drills near it. What's with the small boat?! 🤣 . Do you like to visit old ships like this?
