💥DIRTY vs. CLEAN vs. BALANCED💥 . Really like this post by @sumitpall about how we tend to look at nutrition . If you eat only “dirty” (food with very little nutritious value and high in calories) then you’ll probably feel good short term but you’ll gain weight, lack energy and basically feel like crap eventually . On the other hand, if you eat only “clean food” ( food that is super nutritious but a little less enjoyable for most) then you’ll probably feel great and if you keep your calories in check, look great too. The problem that most people have is that it can be tough to sustain this and the risk of binging on “dirty” food is high which leads to guilt and more binging . If you eat a “balanced” diet (80-90% clean and 10-20% “dirty”) then you’ll feel great and be able to enjoy some foods that you really love without feeling guilty and binging later on 👍🏼 Win Win 😊 . Remember that the quantity of food you eat will dictate your weight. Even if you’re following a balanced approach, if you’re eating more calories than you’re burning you’ll gain weight . WHICH SHOULD YOU AVOID TO LOSE FAT? by @FITblurb - What do you think? Should you avoid any of these 3 major food groups... protein, fats, and carbs? - The Keto Diet would have you believe that Fat is the be all, end all, and that carbs are the devil if you wanna' get shredded. And does it work? For many it works wonders. - Yet... - Then there are those that are pro low-fat. Does these people lose their fat suit? No doubt, some indeed do. - Two different approaches to the same problem. And both work...huh? - Oh, wait a sec... you've also got some dead shredded people who don't follow either, who eat both fats and carbs (along with protein). Even MORE confusion. - So what's the answer? What should you do if you want trim up? And which of these should you avoid to lose fat? - The answer? - NONE OF THEM. - Look. Those that cut out carbs lose fat because they're in a CALORIE DEFICIT. Not because carbs make them fat. They've just cut out a load of calories each day. - The same is true for those who cut out fat. All they've done is taken in a little less energy each day than their body requires... and THAT'S how you lose fat. - Personally, I'm a fan of eating all 3 of the major food groups. Simply prioritise protein (for a tonne of positive reasons), and enjoy fat and carbs in balance. None of that agonising discomfort you get when you go low go low carb, or low fat. - The other plus... - You still get to eat Ben & Jerry's Chocolate Fudge Brownie ice cream. Guten Morgen,  Heute gibt es mal Vollkornbrot zum Frühstück, bin mal gespannt ob mich das  satt macht bzw wielange. Ich habe die Erfahrung gemacht das Brot/Brötchen mich nicht sonderlich lange satt machen.  Kennt das noch jemand oder geht es jemanden ähnlich?  Jetzt wird erstmal ordentlich gekaut 😂 - bin doch morgens so kaufaul 🙈 wenn das Frühstück dann unten angekommen ist, der Kaffee leer ist, wird geduscht und das Mittagessen vorbereitet.
