@alexzandrapeters -  Half Big Toe Bow Pose in Upward Facing Dog, is for sure a tricky pose, especially in finding balance (at least for me it is). As always, do you warm up’s before attempting this pose – It will make life a little easier and your body will love you more for it!! Warm ups: -5-10 sun salutation -Warm up your shoulders - High & low lunge with a shallow or deep backbend (whatever feels good on your body) 4-10 breaths -All the yummy quad stretch you can think of -Locust pose – cobra – seal – upward dog – camel – bow pose – fish pose – dancers pose- puppy pose – puppy pose with elbows on blocks and hands at prayer behind your back.⠀ Tips: -  Spread your grounded palm wide – this will help you with balance⠀ -  You’ll have to play with your balance, trying to even out the put in the grounded palm and sinking the hip that’s lifted in bow.⠀ -  Back leg is active, as well as the foot. Keep the foot pushing into the earth to find flight.☺️🙌 Have fun practicing yogis❤️ Leggings: @teekigram⠀ Top: @freepeople ✨✨✨GUYSSSS: I totally forgot to add the video for this!! Check my stories to see how to get into it! 🤦🏻‍♀️ - #regrann

@jnetvoo -  If #hanumanasana #splits is your dream pose. Try this sequence. 1️⃣&2️⃣stretch and warm up your hamstrings for splits . 3️⃣&4️⃣stretches the hip flexor and quads( front part of thigh) . Hold for at least 30 seconds for each stretches. 5️⃣is the preparation pose for split . From 5️⃣, extend the back leg back and front leg forward slowly . If your can't go all the way down yet , use blocks and hands( place them next to both side of your hips) to support your upper body and prevent yourself to overstretch your hamstring . Happy practicing 💕⠀ .⠀ .⠀ .⠀ #yoga#sgyoga#thesweatlife#yogateacher#yogaig #igyogi#yogaram #yogatutorial #yogasequence #yogasequencing #split#hanumanasana #verticalsplits#yogaeveryday #yogastretch#yogaforlife #yogachallenge#yogadaily #practiceandalliscoming #yogaathome - #regrann

@roxanne_yoga -  Morning Ritual ✨⠀ There's no better way than starting your day with surya namaskar sun salutations! It gets so much blood into your body and brain, helping you kickstart your day on a positive note ☀️⠀ Start with R leg back & forward, and switch L leg back & forward in the next round. R & L together are considered one round. Do 3 rounds :)⠀ #suryanamaskara #sunsalutation⠀ #foxyroxyyoga #practiceandalliscoming #yogatips #yogatutorial - #regrann
@roxanne_yoga -  #samesamebutdifferent ✨⠀ But you know what..... On most days I actually like to take it easy. Sometimes I wonder what my practice would be now if I hadn’t started doing Crossfit. Would I still love going deep into poses to challenge myself? I don’t know.⠀ What I know is I’m happy taking it easy in my yoga practice.⠀ At the end of the day, it is still Yoga.⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ #loveandalliscoming #foxyroxyyoga #yogagram #listentoyourbody #yogajourney #yogapractice - #regrann
@jnetvoo -  Most of the people are suffering from lower back pain during their lives. Most cases of lower back pain can be linked to muscle strain, injury or overuse. Don't worry if you have the same problem, here are some simple yoga poses that you do to strengthen your back muscles in just 15 mins. If you have more time, try to repeats the everything twice. Remember to check out my previous #yogatutorial for back stretch. Journey to standing splits🧘🏽‍♀️✨⠀ @rachiesparkle⠀ .⠀ .⠀ .⠀ #standingsplits #practiceandalliscoming #yogaselfpracticetribe #ashtanga #myyogalife #inflexibleyogis
@miss_sunitha -  Ah splits! You’re either one of those people where splits come easily, or one of those people where it seems impossible (like me! 😂)⠀ .⠀ For most of us, working towards splits takes patience, effort, consistency, awareness, and more patience. These are some of the poses and variations that has helped me throughout the process.⠀ .⠀ Besides the flexibility in the quads and hamstrings, splits requires strength & awareness in the hips to move the hips so that they square equally forward. And together with the squaring of the hips, in order to keep the body upright, there is also a little backbend involved. So the core needs to be engaged to keep the lower back protected while trying to keep the body upright.⠀ .⠀ In all these poses, one main thing to be aware of: keep the hips square!⠀ If the right foot/leg is forward, actively bring right hip back and the left hip forward. When doing so, notice if the hip that you bring back tends to sink down. Try to keep them both still level. It requires some core activation to keep the hips level while still sinking them down equally.⠀ .⠀ Few things to note:⠀ • Pose 1 & 3 - knee and ankle are in line⠀ • Pose 2 - keep the belly towards the spine and the spine straight by looking forward⠀ • Pose 4 & 5 - try not to sink the hips to one side. The hips can be lifted away from the mat, but more importantly keep them both level⠀ • Pose 6 & 7 - for the purpose of working into a front split, keep the big toe mount of the front foot completely grounded on the mat⠀ • Pose 8 - tuck the back toes and as you keep the back knee lifted, actively press that back hip forward. Keep the front foot flexed, try not to lean to one side.⠀ • Pose 9 - use your hands here to press that back hip forward and down. The block is there for support, but try not to lean into it too much. Keep the body upright by pressing the belly into the spine and lifting the pelvic floor up.⠀ .⠀ Splits takes
@adellbridges -  I’ve never loved the gym or using machines or weights. For me, using my body weight and gravity is the best way to gain strength! .⠀ .⠀ And if you know anything about my practice you’ll know it’s about building strength to stabilise the joints, and not about flexibility .⠀ .⠀ So this is one of my favourite things to add into my practice: one leg up! .⠀ .⠀ The challenge is not to lose form. Especially in something like a high plank — keep the core engagement and a solid straight line. It’s not about adding a backbend! However strengthening those booty muscles will help your backbends!! 🍑💪 .⠀ .⠀ If you love adding vinyasas to your practice and regularly flow through plank->chatutanga->upward dog, then try this variation and lemme know how you find it! Keep the leg up as you raise the hips to downward facing dog 💪💪 .⠀ .⠀ Wearing @aloyoga #yoga #strength #glutesandhammies - #regrann
@roxanne_yoga⠀ .⠀ The struggles in the past and years of practice have taught- and is still teaching- me how to slow down and truly listen to my body, respecting its needs. My practice on the mat has helped me learn to listen to my body and find balance to live a healthy life. My yoga practice is no longer about always being strong or aiming for the perfect poses, but about being true and honest to my body, my mind and my heart. And if stretching against the wall is what makes my body happy, I’ll be more than happy to do that ❤️ Yoga is my teacher. @jnetvoo -  I know most of us has neck pain ( including myself) . Flexibility and stretching exercises can expand or preserve the range of motion and elasticity in affected cervical (neck) joints, and thus relieve the stiffness that accompanies pain. As a general rule, neck stretching is best done every day, and these  can be done several times a day. Hold for about at least 5 breaths for each stretches . Happy stretching 💕⠀ .⠀ .⠀ .⠀ #yoga#yogasg #yogaig #yogachallenge #yogatutorial #stretch#stretches#neckstretches #neckstretch#shoulderstretches#neckpain#neckpainrelief #cheststretch#stretches #stretching - #regrann
